The first 10-speed cassettes available in 11-34T, 12-32 and 11-32T. To use an increasingly trite expression, "Bold move!"
With 9-speed STI shifters dwindling, what were cyclocross racers, tourers and tandem riders to do, since they use often use MTB-ratio cassettes?
Cross country racers can also find use for this, since they can possibly unload their granny gear and still have 20 speeds. Must use mountain rear derailleur such as Shimano LX or XT ('07 XTR not recommended because it lacks a barrel adjuster and the body flexes too much for good shifting performance). Weight: 355 - 363g.( Remember this has one more cog than other MTB cassettes and all the cogs are steel for long term durability.)
