The first Shimano®-compatible "Compact Road" front derailleur. The "compact road crank" platform is gaining steam, but Shimano's current double front derailleurs are not designed to take the 16t change. Their capacity is 15t. Using triple front derailleurs requires two shifts. Not cool. IRD is optimized for Compact Road. We broadened our range and also sculpted the chain guides to closely match the smaller chain rings. Braze-on only for now, but most bike shops have derailleur adapter clamps available if you need one. Bottom-pull. Will work for 50-34t, 48-36t and other combos. (Max chainring: 52t) |
